The Goonies Trailer Recut as a Thriller is Perfect for Halloween

It’s pretty hard to believe that it’s been over 30 years since the 1985 classic “The Goonies” was in the theaters but it just goes to show how old all of us are.  And yet the movie remains just as popular as ever among its die hard fans.   To say it’s a cult classic is an understatement.  Too many memorable lines.  Too many scenes that people watch in their minds over and over again.  I personally think to do a remake or sequel would be the worst idea ever, and yet I’d be compelled to watch another rendition of the Truffle Shuffle.

One thing that Goonies hasn’t gotten and it’s been too long, is a recut trailer as a horror movie.  Someone tried it in 2013 but it was pretty crappy.  However, last week CineFix did it right.  You’ll be smitten as soon as you see the line “how far would you go to save your parents?”   Nicely done guys.
