The Much More Satisfying Dexter/Wolverine Crossover Ending
I wrote a whole column about Dexter earlier today, but I thought I’d end the day with a bit of lighthearted fun regarding the now-infamous “lumberjack” ending. (Spoilers). In the end, Dexter fakes his own death after mercy-killing comatose Deb, and runs away to the Yukon where he lives as a lumberjack. With a beard. And a vacant stare.
Not exactly the grand finale people were hoping for.
But in THIS version, he meets another killer, Wolverine, also known for his desire to work in the northern wilds. With some clever editing, this turns into a much better finale than the one we got. Now that’s a movie/show I’d watch.
