If Our Scary Falls Shows Were Goosebumps Novels
I wasn’t allowed to read Goosebumps when I was a kid because my parents thought they would give me nightmares. Well, I snuck away and read them anyway, and damnit, they were right. But they were still awesome.
Artist Jon Defreest at the behest of Vulture has gone through and converted three of this fall’s “scary” shows, The Walking Dead, Dexter and American Horror Story into would-be Goosebump novels. Surprisingly, they all fit quite nicely. I can easily see “My Brother is a Serial Killer” in the Goosebumps stable for instance. I imagine “Welcome to Dead Prison” would make a great choose your own adventure book.
