Top speed is 130 bhp with 133 pound-feet of torque. This is a 2154 pound, front-wheel drive, front engined vehicle with 5 speed transmission. They’ve given you a easy one for your first Barn Find, as it’s in the mountains, in clear view. The Escort is located in an old barn southwest of Glen Rannoch. Keep a lookout for a cell tower, that will tell you you’re getting closer. Some gamers find the red road takes them right to the barn.

Barn Find 2: 1962 Triumph Spitfire

The 1962 Triumph Spitfire is a Barn Find located within the vicinity of the Express Railyard. This handsome car is a 1962 production sportscar made in the United Kingdom. The engine is a 1.1 liter, naturally aspirated I4 which pushes the Spitfire to 63 bhp with 67 pound-feet of torque. Not exactly the fastest car in the game, but it is gorgeous and fun to drive. This car is a rear-wheel drive, front engined sports car with a 4 speed transmission. As stated, it can be found in a barn near the south eastern part of the Express Railyard, which lies northeast of Lakeurst Forest. This barn is situated deep among the trees, so you may have to spend some time finding it. The trees form a sort of leafy celing which helps hide the barn, so the drone might not help you much.

Barn Find 3: 1998 TVR Cerbera Speed 12

The 1998 TVR Cerbera Speed 12 is an amazing car. Though it never really grabbed the attention of car enthusiasts like most of the cars on our list, it still does not put out the light that was this vehicle. For instance, this car could hit a top speed of 240 mph, thanks to a 7.7 liter, naturally aspirated V12 (yes, a V12). This massive engine holds 800 horses and 650 pound-feet of torque. To find this car, head towards the Greendale airstrip. Drive to the area where you’ll find the letter ‘T’. The car will be snug as a bug in a rug among the tree and a few buildings.

Barn Find 4: 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B STI

The Subaru Impreza 228 STI was meant to represent Subaru’s 40th anniversary. This wide body, 2 door car made in Japan came with a 2.2 liter, turbocharged F4 engine. Don’t let the name of Subaru mislead you, this was and is, one fast compact/ In fact, it’s so fast that Collin McRae drove one during his World Rally Championships and won! One of the best rally cars ever made, this Japanese compact can be found in the Lakehurst Forest, woven amid the trees and foliage. Due to the tangle of green, this Barn Find will be pretty hard. First, locate Lakehurst Forest, Derwent Water and Moorhead Wind Farm Next find the road that goes to Derwent Water. The Subaru is located south of Lakehurst Forest.

Barn Find 5: 1966 MG MGB GT

The 1960 MB MGB GT is a sports car that was made affordable for most people. At 2360 pounds, this car was a snappy, fast and easy handling vehicle. The engine is a 1.8 liter, naturally aspirated inline 4, with a top speed 95 bhp and 110 pound-feet. Once you get this car, try it out by doing some drifts and spins Located north of Astmoor, this Barn Find won’t be hard to spot. However, you’ll need to do some back country, off-road driving in order to find it. As long as you drive north from Astmoor, you’ll easily see it. Here’s another hint, it’s around the wind farm.

Barn Find 6: 1983 Audi Sport Quattro

The 1983 Audi Sport Quattro is the second barn find on the list. This car was manufactured in Germany by Audi and was a production rally car. The engine is a 2.1 liter, turbocharged I5. The Quattro can hit speeds up to 306 bhp and has 258 pound-feet of torque. This is a front engined, all-wheel drive car with 5 speed transmission. In Forza Horizon 4, this car references the television crime drama Ashes to Ashes. The barn can be seen from afar, sitting among the trees. To get there, keep driving in the south eastern direction from the Derwent Reservoir. Keep your eyes peeled, because you’ll come upon it soon.

Barn Find 7: 1997 Lotus Elise GT1

This mid-engined supercar is an example of precise British design and development. The Brits love their sportscars, and the 1997 Lotus Elise GT1 is a fine example of that admiration. Powered by a 3.5 liter, Type 918 Lotus twin turbocharged V8 engine, the Lotus’ max speed was 350 bhp, with 295 pound-feet of torque. This car had rear-wheel drive and a 6 speed transmission. This next Barn Find can be located near the slate quarry. To get there, you’ll need to locate some old, dirt roads. You can try your drone here, but the trees and uneven landscape may make that difficult. After all, just because developers give you a drone to help you out, doesn’t actually mean they’ll make it easy on you. Just keep on the dirt roads, and sooner or later, you’ll come across the old, rusted sheet metal barn.

Barn Find 8: 1965 Mini Cooper S

Also known as the Mini ’65, the 1965 Mini Cooper S is a sports car made in the United Kingdom. The Mini Cooper S is powered by a 1.3 liter, naturally aspirated I4 engine with 75 bhp horses and 80 pound-feet of torque. The sports car is front engined, front-wheel drive with a 4 speed transmission. To get your hands on this Barn Find, take a look at the map and find Derwent Water and look for Derwent Mansion. South west of Derwent Water is where you’ll find the mansion. Drive to the mansion, and head out its driveway into the woods. Keep driving until you come to the barn.

Barn Find 9: 1993 Jaguar XJ220

One of the most sought after supercars, the 1993 Jaguar X1220 was a production car made in the United Kingdom, with only 282 manufactured. The engine is a 3.5 liter twin turbocharged V6, providing you with 542 bhp and 473 pound-feet of torque. The Jaguar is a mid-engined car with rear-wheel drive and a 5 speed transmission. In fact, a XJ220 prototype hit the famous Nürburgring track and achieved a lap time of 7:46.36, which was quite a feat! It also made the 1994 to 1999 editions of the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest car at that time, with a max speed of 217.1 mph. Be prepared, as they didn’t make this supercar easy to find, even with a drone helping you. First, go to your map and locate Ambleside. Look around until you see a group of trees and bushes. Head toward the trees. The barn is nestled amid a bunch of trees and bushes.

Barn Find 10: 1961 Jaguar E-Type S1

his supercar was made for public consumption in the United Kingdom in 1961. Powered by a 3.8 liter, naturally aspirated I6 engine, the Jaguar E-Type S1 hits 265 bhp and has a 260 pound-feet of torque. This is a rear- wheel drive, front engined car with a 4 speed transmission. Fast and beautiful, this car stood out amongst its peers. Even today the lines and overall form of this British supercar stands out, making the cookie cutter cars of today look old and tired in comparison. . In order to locate this Barn Find, locate Tarn Hows on the map. The barn for this car lies south east from Tarn Hows. While driving, keep on the lookout for a pond or small lake. When you spy that, you know you’re close by.

Barn Find 11: Bentley Blower

The eleventh Barn Find is known as the Bentley Blower. This one-of-a-kind hatchback in Forza Horizon 4 is powered by a 4.4 liter, supercharged straight-four engine which generates 175 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Built during the 1930’s, this car was one of the fastest of its day. To find this car, you’ll have to buy Bamburgh Castle. The castle shouldn’t be difficult to find, as it as a “for sale” sign. In order to purchase the castle, you’ll need to first get your hands on 10 million credits. Once you do, you’ll find the Blower on the middle of the east coast.

Barn Find 12: 1964 Ford GT40 MKI

This is an expensive car to buy, so searching for it as a Barn Find is truly a perk of the game. Made in the USA by Ford, this aerodynamic, rear-wheel drive coupe was a prototype that was known as one of the fastest cars ever made, reaching a max speed of 265 mph. This is a seasonal find. The 1964 Ford GT40MKI can only be located during the spring. To find it, first look for Moorhead Wind Farm on the map. Once found, head in that direction. Next, look for the southeastern area of Great Ridge. Drive to the forest and enter on the left.

Barn Find 13: Peel P50

The Peel P50 is rather a curious vehicle. It’s known as the tiniest production car ever manufactured, with only 50 being made. In fact, at the time of this writing, only 27 are still up and running. This micro-car was powered by a small, 50cc engine with just 4 hp. In order to find this car, you have to look for it during the summer months. To get it, locate the Gables house. Once there, drive northeast, and keep right on driving until you come across the barn. Once you obtain the Peel 50, you also unlock the “Never Tell Me the Odds” achievement.

Barn Find 14: 1960 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato

This is one of the most popular cars in Forza 4. Not only is it fast, but its association with James Bond adds much to its desirability. In the real world, just 20 of these cars were ever built, and they were built by hand. The engine is a 3.7 liter, naturally aspirated, straight six which gives the DB4 GT 314 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. When looking for this car, you’ll have to do it during Autumn. First, find the Horizon Festival site. Next, look for a river the runs south of the Festival. You’ll soon come upon a small lake. Continue to drive north and you’ll soon see it.

Barn Find 15: 1973 Range Rover Land Rover

This is a great choice for those looking to do some off-road travel. The all-wheel drive Range Rover is a true road warrior. It handles everything from hauling, cross-country, and everyday highway travel. The engine is a 3.5 liter V8 with 135 horse power and 185 pound-feet of torque. This is a great choice for traveling in winter or cross country due to its all-wheel drive and tires. In order to locate this Barn Find, it will have to be the winter season. First, find Derwent Water, as the Range Rover is on the largest island which lies in the middle of the water. This is why it needs to be winter: You’ll have to drive over the ice to get to it

Final Thoughts: Choose the Right Car for the Mission

Playground Games did a fantastic job giving each car their own feel. As such, it’s crucial that you select the right car for the mission when it comes to getting the most out of the game. For instance, just like the real world, the cars with all-wheel drive perform differently than those with rear-wheel drive. If you need to travel off-road, then select an all-wheel drive vehicle like the Land Rover, or you won’t do very well in snow or areas with uneven terrain. Tires also matter. You’ll need to match your tires to the type of event.
