Wake Up With Some Mucha-Style Disney Princesses
It took me a minute to realize that “Mucha-style” art is named after Alphonse Mucha, the artist who pioneered the style I always refer to as “Art Nouveau.” If I’m screwing that up, I apologize to all the art history majors out there.
In any case, present day artist Hannah Alexander has a Disney Princess collection in Mucha’s style, with a little bit of a manga twist thrown in. Manga Nouveau? Is that a thing now? Sure, why not.
Check out the other girls below. I love how the official Frozen princess is now automatically Elsa. Screw the other one! What was her name again? That’s right, no one knows because she doesn’t have superpowers.
His name was Alfons Mucha. Please correct.
