Upstream Color: The Next Primer

When Primer became a sleeper sci-fi sensation back in 2004, you would imagine that someone would have given director Shane Carruth a ton of money to do a new film.
But that wasn’t the case, and Carruth hasn’t directed another film since.
Until now.
His new movie, Upstream Color, is supposedly tearing up Sundance, and the trailer for it is above. Some are saying it’s even trippier than Primer itself, which is roughly like saying your movie has more explosions than a Michael Bay feature. It’s hard to gather what exactly it’s about, but it’s supposed to be focused on “a man and woman [who] are drawn together, entangled in the life cycle of an ageless organism.” Sounds intriguing to me.
Can’t wait until this is available for public consumption.
Looks pretty trippy. Still trying to fully wrap my mind around Primer. This will be very interesting to see.
Also… INCEPTION SOUND!
