This Week in Movie Trailers!

Hey folks, time for some more This Week in Movie Trailers!

It has been a relatively calm week for movie previews, but let’s see what’s been released anyway! Oh, first, did anyone catch Gravity this weekend? Everyone seems to be talking about it! What a visceral and groundbreaking visual experience that was, especially in IMAX 3D! I completely agree with Paul’s review and it was probably one of the best movies I’ve seen in a loooong time. It did make me never want to go to space, though, but I think that’s a good thing.

OK enough with movies that have already been released and on to ones that have yet made their way to theaters. Let’s do this!

Wow lots of great actors here including what looks to be like a great performance by our good old friend, Shia LeBeouf. This trailer really doesn’t give anything away from the plot (which I really like) only that it suddenly gets VERY violent during the last minute; poor Shia gets his face punched quite a bit. I hope he’s ok L Anyway, this looks great though and I’m looking forward to finding out more about it! Next!

Dracula 3D

Hahahah! This looks amazing! Are you going to watch it? I sure the hell am!

The Invisible Woman

Well this certainly looks well-acted. Ralph Fiennes, who I am a huge fan of, directed and starred in it, which is also very cool! I’m not sure what kind of release this film will get and if it will hit my theaters, but I definitely would like to check it out even though it might not be up my alley.

I, Frankenstein

Haha, well this looks kinda terrible, but in a good way… maybe. I guess that remains to be seen! Does this remind you more of Van Helsing than it does Underworld? It does to me. That train-wreck of a movie was fun to watch! Anyway, I enjoy Aaron Eckhart, but this probably will be a Blu-ray watch for me!

American Hustle

Again, this looks incredibly acted and I love Christian Bale’s and Bradley Cooper’s lustrous hair.  So with those two comments, especially the latter, I definitely have to see this.

Alright, well that’s it for this week! See you next Friday and happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians.
