The Unreal Life: “War Games”

I drew this week’s comic understanding that it would go over anyone’s head who wasn’t a Starcraft fan, but whatever, I like the game, what can I say? As South Korea and North Korea start to actually think about fighting each other due to escalating tensions over a torpedoed submarine, I wanted to examine the war room of the South, where I believe Starcraft 2 might have a bit of an influence on their military strategies, seeing as how the game is their national sport.

I believe Beta for SC2 is over for a while, but that’s all well and good as the World Cup’s about to start and it’s the one time every four years where I get to pretend I’m normal and actually give a shit about sports.

I think I'm a part of the first generation of journalists to skip print media entirely, and I've learned a lot these last few years at Forbes. My work has appeared on TVOvermind, IGN, and most importantly, a segment on The Colbert Report at one point.
