Five Deadpool Cosplay Masks We Wish We Had

It seems that Deadpool is quickly becoming everyone’s favorite comic book character. Clear evidence of this is the overwhelming amount of fans dressing up as the Merc with a Mouth at the comic conventions. I would care to guess that the popularity of the cosplayers portraying Wade can also be attributed to the fun Deadpool clips you can find on YouTube. These cosplayers run around performing silly antics among other patrons at the conventions and everyone seems to get a good laugh from it. Rummaging through the pictures of said costumed fans on Flickr, I started to notice that some people really have a knack for coming up with great alterations of Deadpool’s classic look. Hell, I almost made this a post on the most outlandish Deadpool Cosplay Masks because I found quite the interesting collection. You can find anything from IronMan/Deadpool to Batman/Deadpool to DeadMau5/Deadpool, it’s a never ending list. There were so many that let’s just say my finger was worn out from the continuous scrolling.

Best In Show

I’m not sure how this one was made, but I appreciate the shading and effort the guy went through in order to get the look spot on. Now if he had just colored the area around his eyes black it would’ve been perfect. (too bad his outfit doesn’t match the quality in the mask)

Best Real Wade Wilson

Isn’t he just gorgeous!? She seems to think so anyways. But really, the amount of detail thrown in here is staggering.

Best Expression

While this isn’t the best quality mask, she by and large had the better expression out of the lot. (many of them just used the typical oval eyes – lame)

Best Deadpool Variant

Like I mentioned, there were Batman variants, Dead Mau5 variants and plenty of others but none seemed to stand out like the Iron Man version.

Best X-Force

Got to hand it to this guy for going the extra mile with the red contacts. He even seemed to nail the expression quite well too! One of the few masks that I enjoyed where the eye patches were cut out and he used paint for the black.

Kudos to every fan out there that devotes hours upon hours into making these amazing cosplay outfits. Do the Unrealtors have any favorite Deadpool cosplayers? Please share links to others you might’ve found that you would consider better than the ones I’ve listed!
