Studio Ghibli Goes Art Nouveau

Studio Ghibli has made some of the best animated features of all time over the past thirty years or so, and they’re not given enough due in pop culture tribute art (unlike those damn Disney princesses!). So when I see something this cool relating to their films, I’m all over it.

A Pixiv artist by the name of Marlboro has done a series of prints that renders Miyazaki’s films for the studio as incredible art nouveau collages. A number of his amazing films are covered from Howl’s Moving Castle to My Neighbor Tororo to Kiki’s Delivery Service and more. No Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away sadly, as those are my two favorites, but the collection so far is top notch. Check out the others for yourself below.
