Star Wars Reimagined as Pulp Novels
Artist Timothy Anderson didn’t think that the original Star Wars films had enough..spice to them, so he decided to revisit the trilogy with new titles and a visual style reminiscent of old pulp novels.
A New Hope becomes The Purloined Plains
The Empire Strikes Back becomes The Princess and the Scoundrel
Return of the Jedi becomes Damsel of the Dune Sea.
I have to say I like the second two better than “Purloined Plains,” but that may have the best art. Damn Leia, looking good.
