Remembering Our Nerdy Childhood

I’ve featured more Star Wars themed galleries than i can count over the years, but this might be one of my all time favorites. It’s a series from artist Craig Davidson who has perfectly captured the joy of childhood make-believe.

In the series, kids use sticks for lightsabers and paper towel rolls for blasters, and act out their favorite scenes from Star Wars. Chances are many of us did the exact same thing growing up, though I did save up my allowance money to by overpriced toys instead of building my own with household objects, I’ll admit.

It’s a whimsical, beautiful concept for a series, and you should absolutely take a look at the rest of the pieces below. This is a different kind of nostalgia.
