New Details Emerge about Nintendo’s Mini NES: See What’s In the Box
Back in July old school Nintendo lovers received a piece of excellent news as the company announced the Mini-NES, $59.99 miniaturized version of the NES which comes with one controller, 30 games, an HDMI cable, and a USB cable (second controller and USB-to-AC adapter sold separately). In case you’re unaware, Nintendo also announced a similarly priced version of the Famicom. While fans will have to wait until November 11th for the arrival of the new Mini-NES, new details have been slowly emerging with regard to what we’re going to potentially see.
Nintendo just released a new promo video over the weekend touting some of the features of this sure to be popular holiday gift. Not only are you blessed with 30 of the best old school NES games but the Mini also gives you the ability to save your progress at 4 different locations in each of the 30 games. You can also pick different display modes depending on if you want the game to be crisp (Pixel Perfect), or have the original aspect ratio (4:3). And if you want you can even have it look like it’s being played on your old school crappy television.
Here’s a list of games that will be included
