I have no idea why exactly this was made, but I love it all the same. Artist Marco D’Alfonso pays tribute to Joel Schumacher’s egregiously terribly Batman and Robin by remaking a famed Rolling Stone cover that originally featured…who was it again? Janet Jackson? That sounds about right.
I thought it was Robin covering Batman’s bat-nipples, but on second glance I can see it’s clearly Poison Ivy. Too bad, Robin would have been way better. I also love how Bane is just listed as Bane because he wasn’t a recognizable enough actor.
Must get a poster of this.
