A Gallery of Movie Posters from a Parallel Universe
If you watch Fringe, then you know that we’re all living in one possible universe, when millions of other ones are probably out there. Sure it would be nice to see their history of war and politics and techonology, but I’m more curious in their film selection.
Thankfully, one artist, Sean Hartter, has gotten a peak at the entertainment industry of the other side, and has come back with this awesome collection of movie posters from an alternate universe.
It’s films you know and love, but reinvisioned in retro poster format by different actors and directors as you can see above. He’s done an insane amount of these, and they’re all great, and I’ve included a selection of my favorites below. And yes, you can buy them. Only $16 each, which is awesome as I could easily see filling a room with these.
Check out the selection below:

Remember a few weeks ago someone commented that vader in dutch, i think, meant father. That gives the movie title “lady vader” a very different vibe.
someone with a time machine, please put it to good use and go back in time to make The Gunslinger with Eastwood happen
It’s funny that he made Clint Eastwood as Wolverine because Hugh Jackman himself has said that people have told him that he looks like Clint when he was younger.
I would actually pay to see most of these.
Good God – the Matrix with Peter Sellers and Bruce Lee? I would pay at least a million internets for that.
@Sam, Vader is indeed Dutch for father. When I watched those movies as a kid, I was always confused why someone would have a villain named ‘Father’. That, and the plot twist that Vader is actually Luke’s father falls kind of flat if you know no better than that Vader is undoubtedly a father.
How about staring Verne Troyer as the son of Super Man?
But being as these claws are coated in adamantium, the strongest metal in the world, and would sever your head from your neck, you’ve got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
