What Happens after you Win on a Game Show?

Have you ever asked yourself this question?  Seriously.  I bet most people haven’t.  I mean when you watched “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” back in the day did you really think that people were going home with a million bucks?  When “The Price is Right” just ended did you think people would be magically whisked away to their favorite islands and get that car that was in the showcase?

Recently the AV Club interviewed a woman who was a showcase winner on “The Price Is Right”, and detailed her winning experience. Turns out the after she finished on the show, she didn’t feel like a winner anymore. Why? Because of the headache that comes along with all those fabulous prizes.

Turns out that winning a game show isn’t all what it’s cracked up to be.  You’re probably better off creating a viral video and landing some kind of contract out of it.
