The Devil Baby That Terrified NYC
It’s probably not the best sign when it seems likely that your viral marketing will be dramatically more scary than your movie itself, but that seems to be the case in this streetside prank for Devil’s Due. The film is about the anitchrist being born (surprise!) and the prank involves a remote control baby carriage with a remote control demon baby inside.
As funny as it is to watch it pop up and scare people, I think the more entertaining part is having it drive around and knock shit over, which at that point, feels more like a Jackass stunt.
I really can’t imagine this movie is going to be in any way good, but kudos on the marketing at least.
