The Best of the Best Captain Kirk Fight Moves
As a follow up to yesterday’s fight scene article, I decided to go even further. To examine how ludicrous the fight scenes are in Star Trek one need only point to the man responsible for all the wonderful moves that help facilitate victory: Captain James T. Kirk AKA The Priceline Guy.
To even being to understand this man’s fighting arsenal would be like trying to figure out the likes of Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan. There’s just too much going on to even bother. He is a force to be reckoned with.
Here are 5 moves that warrant mention from Mr. Kirk.
The Human Projectile
I have no words for this one. Just sheer genius.
Bowling for Bad Guys
Who knew that a simple tumble and roll like when there’s a fire at hand would knock out enemies?
The Kirk Chop
It’s not Kirk performing it, but it’s his move. Nothing can match the strength of using no power whatsoever and the swift skinny arm love tap.
The Wall of Destruction
Whenever you’re in doubt, always use the wall. It’s bound to put you in better position to land on an enemy with your ass.
The Horsie Ride
OK this isn’t a fighting thing but is this not the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen on a Star Trek show? What the hell is this? “How can you let this go on?” I couldn’t agree more.
In response to both yesterday’s list and this one, I tend to think that any fight involving Kirk is awesome, even the cheesy and crappy ones. Kirk is so awesome that he transcends everything else.
