New Games as Classic Atari Cartridges

Game cover art isn’t exactly getting more creative over time, so that’s why it’s nice to go back to a simpler era of hand illustrated art.

This is a project from Star Rovias who has taken a number of modern hits and transformed them into 20+ year old Atari cartridges. Sometimes he’s swiped the current art, but in most he’s found completely new representations of the games based on already existing pieces from the era. I’m trying understand the context behind the Fallout 3 image above. A…Mars doghouse maybe?
