Behold, one of the most bizarre scenes I’ve ever witnessed on television. I haven’t watched Conan in a while now, but when Ron Burgundy shows up to play the flute, I’ll be damned if I don’t have my eyes glued to the video.

The man himself came on Conan to not only play his instrument and insult Conan, but to announce that ANCHORMAN 2 IS HAPPENING! The sequel had been axed by the studio previously due to a perceived  “lack of  interest,” but in recent months fan support has made the project come together. I also expect that now film-leading stars like Steve Carell and Paul Rudd along with Farrell probably agreed to some sort of pay cut to make it happen.

I love that the movie was announced like this. They could have just had a story come out in Variety, but this is ten times better than that?
