Hero Glyphics

One of the oldest storytelling mechanisms out there was writing on stone walls. It happened way back in prehistorical times, but also most notably in ancient Egypt where hieroglyphics recorded history and told tall tales.

Artist Josh Ln has adapted that concept for a modern era with his series “Hero Glyphics.” He’s taken modern pop culture icons from The Avengers to the Power Rangers to the Ninja Turtles, and adapted them into hieroglyphic form. It’s a lot of people standing sideways, more or less.
