Entertainment Icons Get Adorable

Alright, so I’ve featued a few posts that have cute things turning mean. There have been Twisted Disney Princesses and Pokemon from Hell among others, but today I thought it might be nice for a change of pace to go in the opposite direction.

Thanks to Jerrod Maruyama, that’s entirely possible with this series of illustrations making adorable versions of every pop culture icon under the sun. As it turns out, anyone can be cute with the right animation style that I would describe as “Mii-ish,” and he’s got quite a collection built up.

I’ve pulled a few of his better pieces for a gallery below, and after that, check out his personal site over here. Only happy dreams tonight! No being hunted by Snow White’s demented dwarves or demonic Jigglypuff.
