Emotional Heat Maps are Weirdly Accurate
I can’t pretend like I can spin this picture I found on io9 is in any way pop culture related, but I think it’s cool enough to share nonetheless. It’s originally from Discover, and comes from a study trying to map where in our body we “feel” various emotions.
It may look sort of random at first, but if you go through and try to picture a time you had that emotion, how it felt, it’s usually pretty accurate. Fun notes include that only Happiness makes your legs get warm, Shame turns you into Spider-Man, and Contempt makes your genitals run cold.
Shame looks like Spiderman!!!
