Commander Lightyear

I know that a new Mass Effect game is coming SOMEday, but it’s going to be a long, long ways off, as Bioware is probably going to have to concern them with another sci-fi franchise their EA overlords have just bought, Star Wars.

Until then, I guess we’ll just have to rely on fan art for our fix, like this fantastic piece from Dwayne de Kock which imagines if Buzz Lightyear was the first human Spectre instead of Commander Jack Shepard. What? I created my character when LOST was still cool, okay?

And wait, if Disney owns Star Wars AND Pixar, and EA is doing Star Wars video games AND owns Mass Effect, we could actually see this someday! Probably! Maybe! Possibly! Or not, but it’s fun to dream.
