Awesome Dad Makes Kid Sledgehammer Game Consoles For Getting Bad Grades
I happen to have a child so I can say with 100% certainty that I probably would have the guts to do this, but I like to think that I’m capable of doing what this one badass dad did when his son got bad grades. Jason apparently didn’t do so well in school, and there’s a hint at the beginning of the video that his dad gave him a three week warning to get his act together or else bad things would happen to his video game consoles.
The time passed and apparently Jason’s grades didn’t improve, so this video is the result. You can hear the kid trying to blame it on the teachers and he weeps in his front yard as his dad makes him take a sledgehammer to multiple consoles and what appear to be controllers.
Parents. Take lessons.
A real awesome dad would have helped the kid with his homework…
how do you know he didn’t help it never says. there’s a difference between helping and doing it for him.
I’m just guessing here, but it feels like that dad didn’t help out. Doing it ain’t helping.
a rea dad would of sold them for $ and not destoryed or helped with school.
Yeah, this isn’t to be encouraged. Literally the most idiotic thing I’ve seen since the Texan dad shot his daughter’s laptop with hollow points.
3 weeks to fix your grades? Yeah, as a current student, I can say “good luck with that.”
how is it good parenting when he just destroyed the kid’s mental state by first having him sledgehammer his prized possessions, then humiliate him online?
Kid’s gonna be laughed at in school for starters. Secondly, give the kid some incentive. Take the xbox away and have him get better grades so he can earn it back.
So parents, do NOT take lessons
This is about the worst thing a parent can do. To force a child to destroy their posessions regardless of the reason is not the mark of an “awesome parent” it is there sign of an abusive one. My mother used to just take a vital component to my game console and hide it until my grades improved.
