8-Bit Wood Art of Classic Video Games
This has so much “dork” and “awesomeness” at the same time I can’t even begin to write. Honestly I’m kind of giddy at the moment. We come across cool pictures all the time but once in a while something hits us that all of us are kind of stunned to see. If this description isn’t any indication of the coolness you are about to witness then you just don’t understand our passions here.
8BITWOOD is a journey into the madness of homemade pixel art. I work in the video game industry and I thought what better way to pay homage to my favorite games than to cut out thousands of little blocks of wood, stain them, glue them together, seal them and then hang the result on the wall? I work at a video game developer that is kind enough to let me create murals of pixel art and put them up on the wall for display.
Now I’d like to know what developer this is as Mr. Wood doesn’t reveal who he works for. Nevertheless we have the photos and I must say this would be one badass place to work….
A Big thanks to 8Bitwood for these photos
OK this is just all kinds of awesome. Duck Hunt, Super Mario Brothers, Pitfall! And that’s not even close to being it.
More 8 Bit Wood
Goddamn I wanna shoot that damn laughing dog. Perfection all around.
It’s Neversoft Entertainment…Tony Hawk and more recently Guitar Hero….
