Fun fact: Today is the one year anniversary of Diablo 3. Though really, it should probably be known as the time when the game finally got out of beta. Through an enormous series of patches, the game is actually about 100% more fun than it was at release.

Anyway, love it or hate it, you can’t deny that the Witch Doctor is a badass class for an ARPG, and this is a badass picture of said Witch Doctor and his friend, Tiny the Gargantuan. The artist is Staples, and you should check out more of his work here.

And yeah, I still have to check out Path of Exile, I know. Torchlight 2 was just okay. Not being able to respec killed it for me.

 

I think I'm a part of the first generation of journalists to skip print media entirely, and I've learned a lot these last few years at Forbes. My work has appeared on TVOvermind, IGN, and most importantly, a segment on The Colbert Report at one point.

    Torchlight 2…

    In your previous rant about that game I posted you a link to a respec tool.

    There is also a large and active mod community for the game.

    However speaking of Diablo, did you ever give Titan’s Quest a try? I picked it up during the THQ Humble Bundle and have been playing it since last week with a friend online and am having a blast.

    Looks really good on a modern gaming PC and isn’t so “bright” as the Torchlight games.

  3. I have to agree with Shawn, there are several solutions to the “respec” problem.

    Took me under 5min to find, install and have in-game a full chest of respec potions.
