Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s Golden Globe Opening Monologue
Biologue? Duologue? Monologue just doesn’t seem right in this case.
Anyway, the Golden Globes were last night, and once again, their only redeeming factor was the fact that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were hosting. Above you’ll find their opening monologue which is where most of their best jokes were housed. The one about Clooney was especially great, but it’s too bad he wasn’t there to react to it.
As for the awards themselves? Well, let’s just say Jon Voight in Ray Donovan beat out Aaron Paul in Breaking Bad for best supporting actor so you can draw your own conclusions from there. The full list is here if you’re curious, and honestly most of the other awards were fairly well deserved.
Uuuuuh … well deserved? You do know that essentially a Golden Globe is available to the highest bidder, right?
Have you watched Ray Donovan? I’m not saying he necessarily deserved it over Paul, but Voight was fantastic in it, and I don’t even like him.
