The Cheshire Doctor
Our favorite cheerful artist James Hance is back with a whimsical look at Doctor Who. The series has always been a bit of a fairy tale story in disguise, and sometimes not really all that much in disguise at all.
Here, he’s comparing the Doctor’s saga with Amelia Pond to Alice in Wonderland, though I think the more accurate comparison would be to Wendy of Peter Pan fame. Peter visits when she’s a little girl, then goes away and comes back. She’s aged, but he hasn’t. Fits just a touch better, but then again, traveling anywhere with the Doctor is indeed like falling down a rabbit hole into Wonderland.
