Thailand’s Trailer for Iron Man 3 is the Best Thing You’ll Watch This Year

I’m becoming jaded enough writing on the internet where even universally funny videos only get a mere chuckle out of me most times. Then I watched Thailand recreating the trailer for Iron Man 3, and I couldn’t stop laughing.

I’m not sure if “sweding” a trailer was invented by Be Kind Rewind, but it certainly got popular after that. Here Thailand uses the format to recreate every frame from the Iron Man 3 trailer in all its epic glory.

I don’t know what’s my favorite part. The Iron Man bodypaint suits? The sparkler jets? Tony Stark as a tattooed Thai man? It’s all amazing from start to finish. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to watch this about five more times.

  1. Man, that is funny. But it’d be even funnier if they’d picked a country that isn’t actually making some pretty great movies with decent special effects. Then again, it wasn’t too long ago I was laughing at stunt outtakes of Tony Jaa running around the set after a take with his legs on actual fire being chased by a bunch of guys with damp towels.
