Singing the Halo Theme in an Oil Chamber

Just a short, sweet video today of a Halo fan singing the theme song in an oil chamber, which gives exactly the appropriate amount of signature reverb. Was the original recorded in an oil chamber? Because it seems pretty dead on.

On that note, I’d like to say that I’m legitimately getting excited for Halo 4 now, which I didn’t think would happen with Bungie’s departure. But everything I’ve seen so far is just so damn cool. The problem is that Halo games are 5% about looks, 95% about the “feel” of it, which is something that can’t be conveyed through screenshots or even gameplay trailers. I guess we’ll have to see.
