Seven Awesome Movies About Sharks
Deep Blue Sea
I can watch Deep Blue Sea over and over again. It’s just so good, I don’t care what anyone says about it. Deep Blue Sea has a sense of humor, great effects (for its time, of course) and it just happens to be one of the better movies on Renny Harlin’s resume. There’s also those super smart sharks that can break glass and tear through fences. And that unforgettable scene where Samuel L. Jackson gives an inspiring speech about ice being tougher than water, and bam! He gets eaten by a shark. Super fun!
Ah here you forgot all about Mega shark versus giant octopus!

“Tintorera” and “The Jaws of Death”! Where my grindhouse at!? Also, I’m with you on Deep Blue Sea. People talk shit, but that is one hell of a fun movie, and it’s a masterpiece compared to 99% of the shark films out there. BWWD is one of the most amazing docs ever, too. Why it doesn’t get aired annually on Shark Week is a mystery to me.
Great list! Just watched The Reef a couple months ago on Netflix; tense and terrifying.
