“Racebent” Disney Princesses
I genuinely feel guilt for posting this instead of handing it over to Paul , but sometimes things are nifty enough to push through those guilty feelings.
Artist TT, through the tumblr blog Let There Be Doodles, has taken the familiar faces of several Disney ladies and changed the races around. The end result hits that sweet spot of different, but eerily familiar, and seems a nice companion piece to our regular gender-swapped Disney posts (which, TT has also done a series of those).
It’s interesting to try and imagine how how the stories and surrounding characters would change to accommodate these alterations (TT answers one question for us: African Jasmine has a lion, not a tiger). Check out a couple more after the jump, or browse the whole series. (via MyModernMet)
