That Guy Actor of the Week: Jonathan Banks
You might recognize Jonathan Banks from the show Breaking Bad but this guy’s been around for a very long time. Hell he recently made an appearance on Modern Family as Ed O’Neil’s brother. But Banks was on TV and in movies as early as 1977.
Personally I always think of Banks as the rugged, mean, bad guy type. He was certainly that way in Beverly Hills Cop. He played a total badass in Stir Crazy. He was basically the same guy in 48 hrs as he was in Beverly Hills Cop. And yet he played a funny guy in Airplane! Go figure.
