Explaining the Hobbit to Grandpa Requires a White Board
While many think that the holidays are a time of cheer and reflection, this family takes that all important break to discuss the Hobbit to each other. We’re not positive if Redditor Daniel379ba’s explanation took place during a Christmas dinner but doesn’t this photo have the holiday spirit? This is the Redditor’s uncle trying to explain The Hobbit to grandpa.
The explanation is so complex and illustrated that he used a whiteboard to list the cast of key characters, and there’s even a crude illustration of the Lonely Mountain. We’ve never seen the finished whiteboard product but something tells us there was a lot of erasing and rewriting going on. Hopefully Gramps get the message now!
