Dogs Bark the Star Wars Theme

Volkswagen must have given George Lucas a new Passat every day for the rest of his life or something, because I can’t think of another reason he’d let them use Star Wars to this degree to sell their cars.

What dogs barking the Star Wars theme has to do with their autos, I have no idea, but I suppose we are talking about them, and I’m giving them free ad space.

The magic of this video is not the digital editing that made all the dogs bark the song, but rather the hilarious fact that they picked dogs that looked like a bunch of various characters from the movie. It’s hilarious when you realize who is supposed to be who, and that’s my favorite aspect of the spot.

I think I'm a part of the first generation of journalists to skip print media entirely, and I've learned a lot these last few years at Forbes. My work has appeared on TVOvermind, IGN, and most importantly, a segment on The Colbert Report at one point.
