A Video Tribute to the Legendary Danny Trejo
Danny Trejo is the man. A lot of actors play tough guys, but Danny Trejo is about as real as they come. Trejo – a cousin of Robert Rodriguez – didn’t go to acting classes or partake in theater as a kid. Instead, he ran the streets, boxed, was addicted to drugs, and found himself in and out of California prisons, including the notorious San Quentin State Prison.
Danny has since gotten his life together and is set to star in the upcoming action flick Machete. He’s truly grateful for his second chance at life, and he seems incredibly humble and down-to-earth as a result of his experiences. They don’t make them much tougher – or cooler – than Danny Trejo. Hell yeah this man is a legend, it’s good to see he’s finally gotten his own feature. I (regretfully) loved his performance on Desperate Housewives, amongst ton’s of others he’s been in (my gf made me watch it and was suprised at the episode he was in).
Hell yeah! he really IS a humble guy. He goes to my gym. Only person I know who works out then goes outside and downs an entire 40oz then lights a cigarette. The man LIVES BADASS.

i think he is a great actor and i see him and his wife help on pitbulls and paroles and its great he and his wife seem like down to earth generaly nice people ,my husband and i watch all his movies great actor! maria and eric keep going god bless
