Cosplay of the Day: Wait, We’re Cosplaying Paintings Now?
Just when I thought I’d seen everything, I now have discovered an entirely new type of cosplay: Fine Art. Who would have thought? I suppose there are only so many comic book and video game characters to go around, and it’s cool to see people thinking outside the box.
In case you don’t recognize the simulating painting above, that would be Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss, the original of which you can see below for comparison’s sake. It’s a pretty damn accurate take on the painting, though if they wanted to REALLY be exact, both their necks would have be broken to bend at the weird angles we see in the original.
