Cosplay of the Day: Margaery, The Little Rose
I’ve finished the Game of Thrones books now and (no spoilers) I’m still not sure if Margaery is a master manipulator or just a pawn used by her family. Perhaps that will be made clear later, but at present, it’s hard to tell.
The cosplay above is from Kapalaka, and I’d classify it as relative “easy.” It’s not a knock, but I think most of this being fantastic is the fact that this girl is a dead ringer for actress Natalie Dormer, at least in this picture. The costume itself isn’t quite as ornate as her actual outfits on the show.
She should be friends with the Cersei Lannister, along with Petyr Baelish.

The very fact that you expressed that doubt is a spoiler.
You guys should study linguistics!
Hi Paul!
Thank you for the compliment and signal boost! She is my favorite character and it makes me happy to be compared to such a beautiful actress.
My Margaery Tyrell cosplay pictured above is not as ornate as the character’s season 3 version because I am not cosplaying that version. 🙂 That is the season 2 dress from Renley’s tournament scene. Here is a reference picture to clear up the confusion: http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t410/kapalaka_cosplay/Margaery-and-Renly-margaery-tyrell-30605706-1280-720_zpseb4637a6.jpg
Please look forward to my cosplay of the season 3 version later this year. I will do my best, and thank you for following. 😀
Ah makes sense. Well great job! Glad to have you here.

I hate it when people do this! Now I know that she probably makes it through the book alive. Also I am made aware that the final thought about Margaery is that she is either a “master manipulator or just a pawn used by her family”. Now of course those are your words and your opinion but it is all I have to go on. Thanks a bunch for the spoilers!
This is along the lines of when people say crap like “Your really going to like this character in the last book”, or “towards the end that character gets really good but shes pretty boring up until then”. Being vague is not the same thing as not spoiling. In a George R.R. Martin book, mentioning anything about the characters is a spoiler cause as far as the rest of us know, they die the next time we pick up the book/see the next episode.
