Call of Duty Warzone & Vanguard Season 3 to Include Operation Monarch

Call of Duty Vanguard Warzone Godzilla Kong Operation Monarch Season 3

In a world where collaborations have been flooding the video game industry it’s important to remember the companies and brands that did it first, or have done so in ways that don’t spoil the reputation of the involved series collaborated. Call of Duty has long been one of those companies, with recent collaborations for the upcoming Operation Monarch, to the somewhat more recent inclusion of Snoop Dogg and Ghostface as playable characters in the game and more over the years of the franchise, Call of Duty has always had outstanding collaborations with other brands and companies that fit well with their vision. With Operation Monarch coming up as what appears to be a major factor overall in season 3 of Call of Duty Warzone, which could have been assumed from the various teasers Call of Duty has released on their Twitter. Below, we’ve gone into detail on the new season of Call of Duty coming soon, the changes and more likely to come, and of course everything we know about Call of Duty Operation Monarch to be included in Call of Duty Warzone season 3.

Call of Duty Warzone & Vanguard Season 3: Classified Arms

Operation Monarch was announced by Call of Duty to be part of the next seasonal update to the game, which has been dubbed Classified Arms, and while that itself doesn’t necessarily scream Operation Monarch, most parts of the update, even those outside of what likely will be a major event passing Godzilla and King Kong in the mix somehow. Parts of the update that were announced that aren’t directly under the Operation Monarch tag include bodysuits, like one that is literally a gorilla costume, but some of the more practical additions to the game through the season 3 Call of Duty update to Vanguard and Warzone include weapons, points of interest, multiplayer game mode updates and more. Overall, with the season 3 update to Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard, it seems like the franchise is finally learning from its competitors by keeping up continuity and while it may be heavily influenced by Monarch and Godzilla VS King Kong, the extreme detail that has been put into the upcoming season showed more than dedication to a great crossover already.

Operation Monarch: There Will Be Titans

While it’s unknown exactly how Titans Godzilla and King Kong will be included in the soon-to-be Xbox owned franchise, outside of the company Monarch from the movies is heavily involved in all aspects of the update from map locations, to prototype weapons with questionable purposes, Monarch buildings and symbols across the island are all alluding to a grand showdown visible from the entire island that’ll be sure to leave destruction. Overall, the entire announcement of Classified Arms and Operation Monarch, as well as everything else announced to be a part of the Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Season 3 update gave us constant reminders that whatever the island appears to look like when we are able to drop into the new content will likely change yet again, or at least will with an endgame style event with the Titans destroying the island the way phrases like “darkness approaches” and “looming over the horizon” preluding that something unexpected still could come are thrown throughout the seasonal update blog.

Other New Additions with Season 3

While Operation Monarch itself will be huge in scale for an event to come to the Call of Duty battle royale island, there will be plenty of other good from points of interest on the map, to a new Gulag location, remains of giant dinosaurs, and other animal bones and so many other things to be scattered throughout the season. Below, we’ll go into a breakdown of the additional updates coming to Call of Duty with season 3. New content set to change how players engage with one another on the island through weapons will be available at launch and throughout the season, with one melee item and three guns, three new Operators with one available at launch and the other two coming throughout the season, and more. Vanguard multiplayer updates included in the Call of Duty season 3 update include a new map available at launch with one more coming mid-season, a new trophy system equipment, and more from the battle pass and beyond. Overall, Call of Duty has been a collaborative effort from multiple studios for a long time now with studios taking turns creating the next title in the franchise, Season 3 of Warzone and Vanguard was an extremely collaborative effort between Toys For Bob, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer and without season 3 even launching for Vanguard and Warzone yet, it’s sure to be destructive time with operation monarch leading the charge.
