A Gallery of Excellent Halo Concept Art from Bungie’s Isaac Hannaford
So allegedly Reach is the last we’ll see from Bungie’s Halo universe until another studio picks up the reigns, but I have my suspicions that they won’t be able to resist returning to it at some point. But until then, all we can do is play the old games, and enjoy them for what they are.
One person who put a lot of work into the Halo world is artist Isaac Hannaford, who has recently started up his own blog that showcases a ton of the work he’s done for the halo franchise, which I have to say often looks better hand drawn than rendered in 3D with computers.
Check out a gallery of his best stuff below, and head over to his site for even more.

Actually, Microsoft owns the rights to the Halo franchise and their partnership with Bungie ended with the release of Reach, so Bungie legally can’t return to making Halo games. Well, at least not for another 10 years after their new contract with Activision expires, and only if Microsoft decides to go back to them afterwords.
Oh, and the art is pretty nice too 😛
