I may stay away from MMOs like I stay away from heroin, but even I can see Guild Wars 2 is shaping up to be a hell of a game. Thats thanks to a wicked cool character creation system, but also the virtual world itself, designed in part by people like Daniel Dociu.

This gallery is full of his work, some of which is directly for the game, and some seems to just be his own personal projects. The landscapes he’s created here are nothing short of unreal (hah, yes, site name), and I hope to be able to be reincarnated 1000 years in the future to see that things now look like this.
