Zack Gorman’s New Type of Webcomic
It can be hard to stand out in an era where webcomics would tend to blend together over time. You need a unique art style, or a unique concept to make yours stand out.
Zack Gorman has both, and is the first example I’ve seen of a GIF motion webcomic. I’m sure that you’ll all yell at me and tell me he wasn’t the first to do it, but whatever, he’s the first I’ve seen, and his stuff is damn funny.
He focuses mostly on the Legend of Zelda, but sometimes expands to other Nintendo characters as well. I’ve pulled some of his better ones above and below so you can get a better idea of what I’m talking about. I threw in a few of his still pieces too for good measure.
id like to see some for crash bandicoot and metal gear
only nintendo stuff? pegged for supergay hipster douchebag
Chicken armor!
Cyanide & Happiness occasionally does a gif comic, but by no means is it a regular thing.
You haven’t checked out Nawlz yet have you? http://www.nawlz.com/
These are pretty great. Rich Stevens over at http://www.dieselsweeties.com does one very occassionally.
