This Week In Movie Trailers!
By Lyle Smith
Hey everyone, looks like it’s going to be another exciting This Week In Movie Trailers! Well, may not so much, but how about that Star Wars casting news?! All of our (very) old friends are back! I personally cannot wait to see Leia in her slave bikini. Hell ya! What? You don’t think JJ will let her do that? Well, OK then. In all seriousness though, are you excited? Or did you want a completely new cast? I’m personally pumped, but I’ll wait to judge. Star Wars, everyone! Been awhile.
So, yes, movie trailers! What do we have this week? Well, let’s find out!
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Haha, I love these ambiguous teasers trailers for the actual trailer. Actually, I was lying. I hate them; but I do understand why they do it. Anyway, I am very much looking forward to this movie and it will be fantastic, I’m sure! See you next week, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes trailer.

How about that facial hair? You can probably guess who I am talking about.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Not much new here except a few extra scenes with our favorite turtles and it still has that very dumb mountain scene. That said, I’m not going to fool myself in saying that I’m not going to see this, because I am. No matter how dumb is looks. Go, ninja, goooo!

Woa, it’s weird seeing Clark Gregg play a role other than Agent Coulson from the Marvelverse; I guess that’s because it’s the only role I’ve ever seen him play. Anyway, I don’t know how much attention I paid to this trailer because I have no idea what it is about after “watching” it. It could be good, though! Can you find out for me?!
Gozilla
Yeah, this movie is probably being way over hyped, but it’s hard not to be pumped for this movie after watching the last two trailers. Godzilla looks absolutely terrifying! I am very much looking forward to this movie, though I still find the brilliant Bryan Cranston’s performance in these trailers off putting; though it is only a trailer.
Alright folks, that’s it for this week. Enjoy the weekend!

Cranston’s performance seems perfect. Godzilla is terrifying, Cranston seems terrified.
And Godzilla wins the award for most misleading trailer.
We were promised Bryan Cranston facing against a terrifying Godzilla in a thrilling movie. And we got none of that.
