The Super Emo Friends!
Artist Jaal Vador just recently finished this series of prints that show the “Super Emo Friends,” or pouty versions of superheroes from all over the Marvel and DC universe being sad about the various tragedies that began or accompany their herodom.
They’re all pretty funny, though my favorite has to be Green Lantern (“My favorite color is yellow). Captain America must just be sad that he has to fight with no powers and no offensive weapon all the time. And can Wonder Woman not have kids? I must have missed the issue where she got a hysterectomy. She and Supes would make one hell of a wunderkind I’m sure.
this is awesome..
i don’t know why superheroes are fucked up inside to justify their inspiration to run around town wearing weird costumes… well brought up, normal people with superpowers could also be superheroes.. but i guess they won’t be too interesting to watch/read about..
aw, c’mere Wougie, I’ll give you a hug—ack!

Rogue’s “I just want to cuddle” made me lol.
Where can I get these prints? Google has NOTHING on this guy.
@Chris K
Yeah I know, I tried to give him a link, but he was nowhere to be found. Poor career building skills.
These would sell pretty well if they were dolls, I think. I like Gobbie the best.
As mentioned before me, I googled this and got no answers. I need to buy one!
It’s not Jaal Vador. Just google jsalvador.
You can get them here http://www.etsy.com/listing/35179715/super-emo-friends-super-set sadly they are all sold out.
Limited to 20. WTF!
Captain America definitely has powers.
Ah these are so cute!
Regarding Wundy: Isn’t a matter of ability to have a baby, but an issue of time, responsibilities, arch-villains, and whatnot. Also, she’s a living statue, I don’t know if that makes a difference.
