The Little Girly Man

I know that a long time ago on the site, we featured a picture which is similar to this one, but I think it didn’t quite show just HOW much bigger Wilt Chamberlin and Andre the Giant actually are compared to the (usually) hulking Arnold. But I think this shot gives a much better perspective.

Both Andre and Chamberlain are over seven feet tall, which explains the discrepancy. Something tells me that no matter how hard they try, that the Conan reboot that’s in the works won’t be anywhere near as awesome as this one.

What seven foot tall celebrities can we even put in movies these days? Yao Ming? The Big Show? Not quite the same is it?

I think I'm a part of the first generation of journalists to skip print media entirely, and I've learned a lot these last few years at Forbes. My work has appeared on TVOvermind, IGN, and most importantly, a segment on The Colbert Report at one point.

    A handful (discounting real actors or people who have acting as their main profession). Ignoring whether they are good actors or not (Because Wilt was not that)

    You have Kareem (NBA/Airplane), Shaq (NBA/Kazaam), Nikolai Valuev (Boxer), The Great Khali (Wrestler). There probably a few other basketball players and wrestlers who had smaller roles in shows or movies but I can’t remember them.

  3. I’d capture this with “Holy Shit” for two reasons:

    1. They do make Arnold look small.

    and

    2. That’s what always goes through my head when I see old pics of Arnie when he was ripped and compare him to now.
