Here’s how some people have reacted to this theory.

1. Best theory I’ve seen yet.
2. Wouldn’t he just be able to sell the rights on his own? Why does he need people to hate him for it?
3. The original trilogy focused more on the characters than the action, which is why Han and Lando and Darth are awesome, but all the space battles are basically the same shot of a TIE fighter swooping in. The prequels were more on action than characters, which is why you have Jar Jar, but every space battle makes people geek out like crazy. But Star Wars has never been “great” by any real measure except special effects. There’s a reason only a handful of actors ever really took off from the films.
