There’s a New Female Transformer and She’s a Geisha With an Energy Sword and What Am I Even Saying

I honestly didn’t know that Transformers was still a growing, changing series. I thought I left it behind in the ’90s along with Doug and the Ninja Turtles, until Michael Bay resurrected the series where the biggest change was that all the robots turned into Chevrolets.

But apparently the series is still adding robots, and now…they’ve added a GIRL ROBOT. It’s a rarity in the series, and her name is Windblade, as seen above. The Geisha samurai robot that turns into a VTOL, aka, a hoverjet.

“Windblade will get a toy as well as her own comics miniseries as part of her launch. Her comic will be written by Mairghread Scott, who has written several Transformers comics, and drawn by Sarah Stone, who is a new comer to the franchise. This is also the first time that a Transfomers book will have an all-female creative team!”

I’m not sure if this mean she’ll work her way into Transformers 4. Probably not since Chevrolet doesn’t make VTOLs.
