The Best of the IKEA Monkey Meme
About a month ago, news spread that there was a monkey roaming around an Ikea in Toronto, Canada. Not just any monkey, though. A super-stylish monkey wearing this season’s shearling coat. The monkey is 7 months old, and no one was really sure how it got there. Or why it was wearing such a great coat.
But like any other internet phenomenon a fantastic meme was made out of said monkey. Apparently the owner was battling to gain custody of the monkey again. In the meantime people had a lot of fun with it.
