Steadfast Stanley, the Apocalypse-Surviving Corgi
Here’s an adorable little animated short from CalArts student John Cody Kim. In “Steadfast Stanley,” a corgi tries to bring his owners shoe back to him through the midst of a zombie apocalypse.
Yes. A corgi…in the zombie apocalypse. If that’s not enough to get you to watch, I don’t know what would be. This needs to be a full-length feature film immediately starring a real corgi.
The best part? When he steps on the car alarm key and flips over on his back. I could watch that all day.
I own a Corgi and the movements of Stanley are spot on. I have actually seen my dog flip on his back when startled. He is also just as loyal as Stanley is. Best zombie movie I have seen in a long time. Dogs would make the best Apocalypse companions.
